Textile Standard Services: Sustainable Supply Chains within the UN Global Compact

Textile Standard Services (TSS), a leading company in the field of preparing enterprises to enter the international market, has demonstrated its commitment to sustainable development by joining the UN Global Compact program. This initiative confirms their commitment not only to comply with high production standards, but also to contribute to sustainable development on a global scale.

In February, the company took part in an important information event on sustainable supply chains, organized jointly with the leading international auditing company PwC. The event brought together key participants in the textile industry, experts on sustainable development and representatives of government organizations to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing sustainable supply chains.

The main theme of the event is the need to improve transparency and management in the supply chains of the textile industry.

One of the key points of the discussion was the use of innovative technologies and digital solutions to improve traceability and control of production conditions in supply chains. TSS emphasized the importance of implementing standards of sustainability and ethical business conduct, which helps to increase consumer confidence in brands and products of the textile industry. Representatives of Textile Standard Services shared their plans for further development of sustainable practices in cooperation with other UN Global Compact participants. The importance of supporting initiatives aimed at sustainable production and consumption was undoubtedly the central theme of their speech.

As a result, Textile Standard Services‘ participation in this informative event is part of their strategy to strengthen their position in the field of sustainable supply chains and actively implement international standards in the textile industry. This step underlines their willingness to cooperate and collaborate in order to achieve common goals of sustainable development and responsible business conduct.

Tursunov Jamshid Rikhsivoevich, born on December 24, 1982, is a citizen of Uzbekistan and a highly qualified specialist in the field of environmental safety and water resources management. With more than 15 years of experience in engineering and ecology, he has successfully developed and implemented environmental safety systems for various projects, including for international organizations and large industrial enterprises. He currently works as an independent consultant and environmental specialist, participating in projects to improve water supply, solid waste management and other environmental initiatives in Uzbekistan.

Egor Vladimirovich Zhunyaev

Specialist in international economic relations, responsible for the formation of the ACIR Southern Europe project portfolio in Central Asia.
