Empowering entrepreneurs: successful educational seminars in the Ferghana Valley

Textile Standard Services together with Encompass Consulting in cooperation with EKVITA and Zabala Innovation Spain successfully organized offline training seminars in the cities of Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan from March 27 to April 1 this year. These seminars were held as part of the business incubation and startup acceleration component of the World Bank‘s project “Development of Rural Enterprises in the Ferghana Valley“. The main participants of the training were representatives of higher educational institutions in the region, who will act as mentors for young entrepreneurs and startups in their respective fields. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the participants for their active participation, as well as to the Agency for Innovative Development for their invaluable assistance in organizing these seminars. Together, we are making significant progress in the development of entrepreneurship and innovation in the Ferghana Valley region.

Project with GIZ to develop dual education

Textile Standard Services is actively involved in projects to develop dual education in the textile and leather-footwear industries. In collaboration with GIZ, we organize social partnership forums aimed at creating conditions for the successful implementation of dual education. This allows us to train highly qualified specialists who can meet the needs of modern industry.

Representatives of Textile Standard Services, Centrastex met with the German Engineering Union (VDMA) during their visit to Germany.

Tursunov Jamshid Rikhsivoevich

Specialist in environmental protection, health and safety, climate change

Tursunov Jamshid Rikhsivoevich, born on December 24, 1982, is a citizen of Uzbekistan and a highly qualified specialist in the field of environmental safety and water resources management. With more than 15 years of experience in engineering and ecology, he has successfully developed and implemented environmental safety systems for various projects, including for international organizations and large industrial enterprises. He currently works as an independent consultant and environmental specialist, participating in projects to improve water supply, solid waste management and other environmental initiatives in Uzbekistan.

Carmen Soria Aybar

Experienced lawyer with 15 years of experience in international trade and founder of one of the leading consulting companies in Spain, representing the interests of Spanish companies in Europe. With Master’s degrees in International Trade Management and International Business (MBA), Carmen specializes in sourcing project financing, participating in tenders, commercial representation and legal support for companies. She is fluent in English, French and Arabic and has extensive experience in the Arab, African, Asian and Latin American markets.

Egor Vladimirovich Zhunyaev

Specialist in international economic relations, responsible for the formation of the ACIR Southern Europe project portfolio in Central Asia. Since 2019, he has been leading the ACIR Southern Europe project office, initiating and implementing projects in the areas of industrial and municipal water treatment, mobile medicine, agro-industrial engineering, as well as export certification of textile and leather goods. His career includes business development in the Russian-Chinese-Indian holding ProPartners, work in the commercial department of the trading company Keysu Industrial and management of foreign economic activities in the CIS. He started as a project manager at Expoline Ltd. and completed an internship at Nalco.

Miguel de la Cruz Salcedo

Director of MDS-Russia, a company specialized in immersing Spanish companies in Eurasian markets, has more than 15 years of experience in the field of e-marketing, strategic public image and consulting on communication and commercial issues. Originally from Peru, he has provided services to public and private organizations in various countries, including Spain, Uzbekistan, Russia, Ecuador and Peru. His career path includes positions as head of the press service and communications at the Ecuadorian Embassy in Russia, chief adviser to the minister coordinating state-owned companies of the Republic of Ecuador, marketing director of TAME airline and regional director of the Ecuadorian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Andrea Lazari

A professional with almost 30 years of experience who has made significant contributions to the organization, development, expansion and marketing of prestigious national and international brands. A representative of the American companies Franchising Update Media and the UFG Group, Andrea has worked with renowned brands such as Hard Rock Café, contributing to their development in Italy. In Spain he actively supports the franchising system and is a member of the Franchisee Committee of the Spanish Franchising Association. Lazzari also led important ventures in the hotel and restaurant industry and co-founded successful advertising companies. In 2011, he founded Zerosei Event Spain, a company focused on franchising, hospitality and tourism. He is currently also the President of Com.It.Es Madrid and the Italian Ambassador to the Madrid Business Forum.

Antonio Lamois

Experienced economist and leader in the field of logistics and transportation. As a partner of Setram, it provides transport services for vehicles and goods, managing a fleet of car transporters for national and international transport. His accomplishments include operational excellence in supply chain management across logistics centers, port terminals, and rail transportation. Antonio is also a partner of Heavymovement, a company specializing in innovative solutions in industrial logistics, and Barnalog, a company involved in material handling and logistics operations in steel mills.

Andrey Kotamov

Experienced brand manager with 6 years of experience, specializing in design, style and marketing. He currently works at Textile Standard Service as a brand manager, where he is responsible for the development and implementation of brand management strategies, the creation of attractive visual content and the effective promotion of products on the market. Previously, he worked in more than 5 companies, where he successfully managed projects to create branded digital products and implement modern marketing tools. Andrey has deep knowledge in the field of graphic design, UX/UI, SMM and SEO, which allows him to develop creative solutions that contribute to the growth and development of the brand.

In recent years, he has led research in Tunisia and Thailand on e-commerce opportunities and strategies for expanding international trade links.

Elsa Rajemison is a market access and project management consultant with eight years of experience. She currently holds the position of Senior Project Coordinator at infoAid in Berlin, Germany, where she manages international market access projects including market research, international trade events and development project proposals. Previous experience includes working at the Embassy of the Republic of Madagascar in Berlin, where she was involved in foreign trade and development issues, coordination of delegations and interaction with partners in Europe and Africa.

Technical expert in international standards and certification with 17 years of experience, of which 14 years he devoted to areas relevant to the subject of procurement. Currently he works at TEXTILE STANDARD SERVICES LLC, where he is involved in the implementation of international standards at enterprises. Previously, he held the positions of director at AGRO FOOD CHAIN LLC and quality manager at JV Berad Agro LLC, where he carried out quality control and supported audits of foreign customers. He was also a leading economist at FERGANAAZOT JSC. Lenur actively participates in international projects, consulting and training according to GLOBALG.A.P., HACCP, and FAIRTRADE standards.

Sokolova Elizaveta

Work experience – 4 years in the textile industry, international relations and international compliance

He has significant experience in organizing international cooperation projects in the field of sustainable development, promoting the industry in the EU and the USA, management consulting, searching for potential buyers, cooperation with international brands, UN organizations, ILO, IFC, KRU, USAid, GIZ, UNFSS, Gesamtmasche (and other international partners) conducting capacity building and awareness raising activities for the textile industry on important topics such as corporate social responsibility, environmental performance, traceability and transparency of production processes, circular economy and green economy, and product environmental impact environment in textile and other industries.

Tukhtanov Iftikhor

Work experience – 3 years in the field of implementation of international standards

Has experience working with more than 100 textile enterprises to implement social standards Sedex, BSCI, WRAP, as well as environmental standards Oeko-Tex, GOTS, OCS, ISO 14001.

Professional in the field of labor law, social partnership in enterprises, ILO conventions, national standardization. Participated in the development of several roadmaps for standardization of local enterprises together with international partners.

Makhmudov Muhammad

Education – Bachelors in Oriental Studies Institute and MBA in Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Has more than 12 years of deep management skills and progressive experience in the textile, clothing and knitting industry. Responsible for liaising with local textile businesses for marketing, capacity building, export promotion, and establishing collaborations between local businesses and international buyers, developing marketing strategies to effectively identify potential customers, implement strategies and long-term business plans.

Oliver Herrlen

Member of the German – Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expert on dual education of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, member of the dual education committee of the Nuremberg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Has significant experience in capacity building and advisory services to ministries and chambers, mainly in the field of vocational education and employment development, international experience in identifying labor market needs and business processes, conducting national online surveys and analyzing data on labor market needs. He advises a variety of clients, including companies, business support organizations and government agencies, on increasing exports and attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), specializing in sectors such as Textiles and Apparel, Leather/Footwear. Warren has successfully developed export marketing strategies, planned B2B events at international trade fairs, and created business plans for international companies with export and sourcing projects in the China and Asia-Pacific markets.
